Human Rights Law Centre's 20 Year Anniversary Gala Dinner
Where: Plaza Ballroom, 191 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000
When: 7pm, Friday 11 September
About our event
This year, the Human Rights Law Centre celebrates 20 years of fearless human rights action in Australia.
Since 2006, we have been at the forefront of advancing human rights for millions of people across Australia, from marriage equality, getting women and children in offshore detention to Australia, decriminalising abortion, protecting our hard-won democratic freedoms like protest and voting, plus so much more.
Join us in Melbourne on Friday 11 September to celebrate this important milestone together with our supporters, the communities we serve, our legal partners, philanthropy and the broader human rights community.
Where: Plaza Ballroom, 191 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000When: 7pm Friday 11 September

Please join us for an exciting night out to energise the movement and celebrate twenty years of human rights progress with MC Sami Shah and keynote Gillian Triggs.
This milestone is only made possible through your generous support and partnership. We are aiming to raise $2 million by December 2027 for our Human Rights Forward Fund to establish the Centre for 20 even stronger years of fearless, independent action to advance and defend our human rights.
